One way I try to make our weekdays run more smoothly is to use this 10-pocket hanging shoe organizer to organize the kids’ clothes for the week. I fill the top 5 pockets with a complete outfit (shirt, pants, socks and undies) for each day of the week. The bottom 5 pockets are for shoes. My children don’t own more than 5 pairs of shoes so this works well for us. The
50% 25% of the time I actually manage to get this done saves me about 1000* hours and as many under-my-breath** swear words during the week while shuffling through too-full clean laundry baskets finding clothes for my children (because if the laundry isn’t in here, it’s certainly not folded).

What system do you use to organize yourself for the week? Any other tips for making your week run smoothly? Share in the comments or our Facebook page!
(*May not match actual hours spent, but it sure feels like it.)
(**Not always under-my-breath)
PS: I’ll give 10 points (where are meaningless, save for bragging rights) to the first person who can point out what is missing from that bottom photo.

The door knob?
Great organization, by the way. I love the idea!
LOL that’s the guess I had on my Facebook page too, but no that’s not it! And, thank you!
You have a good organizer up there! This lessens stress for you as a mother because you don’t’ have to fix your children at that moment anymore. Wise idea indeed!
Thanks for sharing, I’ll do this very soon for my children’s clothes as well.
